Gratitude, Babies, Bands, and the Park *updated below*

We visited my new niece again.  I must see that baby as much as I can while she is still so new. Once again, my son held her and marveled at her. My daughter touched her hand, and when the baby pulled her hand away, she startled. I wonder if she thought the baby was a doll.

Lora, Are you guys still doing the brushing and joint compressions? How is that going? We just started it on Hannah yesterday and it seems to really be helping already! I just hope that is the case and it's not just the novelty of it. It's hard to get in every 2 hours, but if it works then it's totally worth it. Hope the playdate goes well.

Natalie, yes we are still doing the brushing/compressions. The initial period of doing it every 2 hours for 2 weeks is over, and now the OT just told us to do it whenever we feel he needs it, as another part of his sensory diet. We've found it works best now when we do it 2-3 times a day. I can really tell if we haven't been doing it enough. So in this house, yes, it is really helping still! Good luck with it!
